I'm Evan Felder, a Houston-based photographer with a passion for capturing the defining moments of your Journey. With a background in sports photography, I specialize in the intensity of a game. Whether it's the high energy of a live event, or the detailed emotion of a portrait session, I strive to deliver photos that resonate and inspire.
Although sports photography is my primary discipline, its helped me pick up a few things. Such as, shot anticipation, composition under pressure, or reading a scene before it unfolds — it all translates directly into portrait sessions and live event coverage. Every genre sharpens the others in their own unique way.
Based in Houston, I work with athletes, teams, organizations, and event coordinators across the greater Houston area and beyond. My goal is simple: Capture the moments that deserve to last. Under pressure, with speed, and intent.
Philosophy
I believe consistency matters more than flashes of talent. The moments people remember—the winning play, the decisive look, the energy of a crowd—don’t happen by accident. They’re built through repetition, focus, and showing up prepared every time. Photography works the same way. It’s not about waiting for something great to happen, it’s about being ready when it does.
That mindset shapes how I approach every shoot. Whether it’s a high-pressure game, a portrait session, or a live event, I’m focused on timing, awareness, and execution. Talent might create opportunity, but discipline is what captures it.
